Now I just have to carry on and re-install all the other applications that were on the PC. ![]() If any MS Outlook file or its settings got damaged or deleted, it will corrupt the whole application and stops it to open. I found Outlook worked fine, with no missing chart.dll error. Frequently, when you do improper uninstall and reinstall of applications on the system may cause Outlook to not start. I did this by using the Reset this PC option in Settings, and selecting the option to keep my documents. This gives you a "clean" PC, with your Documents, Downloads etc folders intact, but no applications or settings. Of Windows, followed by re-installing all my applications. In the end, the only thing they could suggest was a complete clean re-install None of them were successful in resolving the issue. Here we are, 10 months later, and the problem has finally been fixed - but in a very brute force kind of way.Īmazingly, I was contacted by Microsoft support as a result of my posts on these forums, who got me to try a few different things. ![]()
